At St. Philip we provide many different ministries on different days to suit your families needs. We have great kids programs along with many adult programs to give you the mid week or weekend boost that you need. All groups and ministries are bible based and give you the opportunity to meet other people who attend.
All of our programs are lead by caring people of different ages, ethnicities and backgrounds. We are confident that you will find the perfect fit for you and your family. Check out the available ministries below...

Footsteps of Faith
(Kindergarten - 5th Grade)
Location: Mary and Martha's Vineyard, Room 5 in the Christian Education wing. Children meet each Sunday morning at 9:45 a.m. to sing, pray, share their ups and downs of the week and collect offering.
Students then divide into two age groups (K-2nd and 3rd-5th grades) and are escorted to their classrooms by their adult Shepherd for instruction tailored to their grade level. Using the We Believe curriculum, they learn Bible stories. We Believe is a PC(USA)-created curriculum designed to help all ages learn to love and follow Christ. Lessons are Bible-based and provide a strong foundation of faith rooted in the Reformed tradition. K-2nd meet in Shepherd’s Shelter (Rm 10) and 3rd-5th meet in Creator’s Cove (Rm ). Children are encouraged to bring their Bibles to class.
Junior High (6th to 8th Grade)
Location: Junior High Loft, Room 16 in the Christian Education Wing
Junior High youth will study the Bible in new and creative ways that will make Biblical stories come alive, and, in response to God's amazing, unconditional love, will be challenged to put their faith into action as they grow to understand themselves as Christ's disciples.
(9th & 10th Grade)
Location: Room 11 in the Christian Education Wing
Our Confirmands meet every Sunday, August to May, to focus on learning what it means to be a Presbyterian. The class will focus on scripture, worship, Presbyterianism, creeds, and sharing our faith. At the end of the course, the class will be examined by Session in anticipation of joining as full members of St. Philip Presbyterian Church.
(11th & 12th Grade)
Location: Youth Hall, Room 13 in the Christian Education wing
Each week the Senior High youth have a group discussion about current events and how they relate to the Christian life. Students will be encouraged to dive into a deeper understanding of the Bible.
