Pauline Sexton

Pauline Sexton joined the staff of St. Philip as Director of Music in August 2019. She oversees all musical ensembles at the church and assists with worship planning. Pauline and her husband Brian relocated to DFW in July 2018 after living and raising their family in the Rio Grande Valley. She is THRILLED to now be a part of the staff here at St. Philip. Pauline was formerly the Director of Music at First Presbyterian Church, McAllen, Texas.

In addition to her work at St. Philip, she is the Head Choir Director at Grapevine High School and is serving as the Vice-President of the high School Division, of the Texas Choral Directors Association. Brian, who will be directing the handbells at St. Philip, is the Head Band Director at Young Men's Leadership Academy at Florence Middle School in Dallas ISD. Their son, David, recently earned a degree from the Peabody Conservatory of Music at Johns Hopkins in Vocal Performance and is nearly finished with an additional degree in Recording Arts and Sciences. Their daughter, Grace, is a sophomore at Southwestern University in Georgetown, Texas pursuing a double major in Music and Business.
